When a Bar Stops Serving Drinks and Starts Building a Brand

Some spaces simply serve a purpose.

Others achieve something far more difficult.

They make people want to stay.

That's exactly what happened at the latest edition of the Conde de Godó Tournament.

What started as a conceptual render became an experiential bar designed to attract attention, spark conversations and bring the essence of St-Germain to one of the year's most iconic sporting events.

Because a great space doesn't just have to look good.

It has to work.

It has to perform.

And above all, it has to communicate.

At BASE3, we often begin where others finish: turning an idea into a buildable project.

Starting from the original concept, our industrial design team developed the complete engineering, technical detailing and construction plans to ensure every element fitted together perfectly.

The production combined different materials and construction systems to preserve the creative vision while delivering maximum functionality.

The main bar was manufactured in CNC-machined wood with a lacquered finish in the brand's corporate colour. The front was produced using lacquered corrugated metal, adding texture and depth to the structure. Above it, a gold-lacquered aluminium frame supported a custom-made textile canopy, reinforcing the visual identity of the space.

But projects like this are not only about what people see.

They're also about everything happening behind the scenes.

That's why we created an integrated technical storage area of approximately four linear metres using the modular beMatrix system, providing a hidden operational space without compromising the overall design.

Our scope covered the entire process.

From technical development and production to logistics, transport and the complete installation carried out the day before the event.

Because when design, engineering and production work towards the same goal, the outcome becomes more than just an installation.

It becomes an experience.

And that's exactly what we aim for in every project.

To create spaces that represent a brand long before anyone tastes a product or hears a message.
