When a storefront stops being just a storefront

Some shop windows simply display products.
Others make you stop in your tracks.

This project clearly belongs to the second category.

For a Celeste activation, Base3 developed an interactive storefront designed to turn curiosity into participation. Not just something to look at. Something to experience.

The concept was simple… which is exactly why it worked so well.

We created a lightbox integrated into the window, designed to interact in real time with the visitor’s mobile phone. The entry point was a QR code — a natural gesture today: take out your phone, scan, and start exploring.

Once inside the campaign website, users could select different constellations from their phones.
And this is where the magic happened: the physical display in the storefront illuminated the constellation chosen on the mobile screen.

What you selected digitally appeared instantly in the physical space.

Digital interface + physical installation + real-time interaction.

From there, the experience continued.
Users could complete their details on their phone and enter a draw to win a special Celeste bottle.

A simple mechanic designed to achieve something very specific:
stop people, make them interact, and create a memorable brand moment.

At Base3 we love projects that combine design, production, technology and installation — because that’s when physical spaces become experiences.

A storefront doesn’t have to just display.

It can invite people to play.

And when that happens, people stop watching…
and start engaging.
